Hamilton (Mercer County) Mayor Jeffrey Martin was selected by the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Officers and Executive Board members to serve as 2nd Vice President in July 2025. Mayor Martin joined the League’s Executive Board in 2020, representing Mercer County and Hamilton. 

Career & Education

Jeff Martin is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps. Mayor Martin received his Bachelor of Arts from the College of New Jersey, his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University, and a Master of Law from the University of Connecticut. He was elected to the Hamilton Township Council in 2017, serving as Council President in 2019. He was elected Mayor of Hamilton Township in 2019, becoming the youngest person ever elected to the position. He is currently serving his second term as Mayor. Mayor Martin resides in Hamilton with his wife, Scarlett, and daughter, Olivia.
