Helpful Tools When Creating Content

• Color Contrast Checker: Color contrast ensures that text is readable on a page. WCAG requires a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. The WebAIM color contrast checker makes it easy to test color contrast ratios.
• WGAC Checklist: Provided by WebAIM, this tool allows you to review guidelines helping you to create an accessible webpage.
• WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools: Allows a user to enter a web address. The tool checks the webspage and flags any issues. A user can then identify potential fixes to a webpage. Tutorial on how to use the WAVE tool.
