The New Jersey Infrastructure Bank (NJIB) announced SFY2026 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), an opportunity for municipalities to secure low-interest financing for water infrastructure projects. These programs allow for the upgrading of wastewater treatment facilities, replacing aging water mains, or implementing green infrastructure. They also offer cost-effective solutions that protect public health and enhance environmental sustainability.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis:
- January 2026, NJDEP starts review of submissions.
- Spring 2026 loan issuance for approved projects begins.
- June 30, 2026 all funding allocated.
Municipalities, their utility managers, and engineers are encouraged to review the Applicant Guidance and visit njib.gov to access the SFY2026 Clean Water Program Brochure.
