The League’s federal partner, the National League of Cities (NLC), the National Association of Counties, and the US Conference of Mayors are working together on a sign-on letter for local elected officials to urge full funding for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and HOME Investments Partnership Program in FY 2026. Appropriations Committee Members will use this letter to make the case for ongoing funding for CDBG and HOME despite the President's request to defund the program.
Please review the letter and consider signing it to protect these important funding sources for municipal governments. While there is an immediate deadline for a letter to committee leadership, the link will remain open with a final letter sent in mid-July.
