The New Jersey Department of Agriculture (NJDA) has announced up to $20,000 per municipality grant funding for the Spotted Lanternfly Chemical Control Treatment program for the 2024-2026 treatment season. Grant funding is also available to counties up to $50,000 per county.
The grants will be available to reimburse eligible costs for chemical treatment such as spray equipment, traps, supplies, materials, and labor, incurred during treatment season.
Municipalities are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as the grants, subject to funding availability, will be available on a first-come first-served basis. Applications received after November 30, 2024, will not be considered.
