The due date for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Office of Climate Resilience Resilient NJ program, grant opportunity, has been extended to Wednesday, October 29, for regional climate resilience planning grant applications.
Municipalities can form regional teams consisting of at least three neighboring municipalities and one community-based organization to develop Resilience Action Plans that address climate-related challenges, including flooding, extreme heat, and coastal impacts. Grants of up to $300,000 will be awarded to support planning efforts, technical assistance, and community engagement. Selected teams will be notified by November 21, 2025.
