The National Park Service (NPS) is offering FY2025 American Battlefield Protection Program Battlefield Restoration Grants totaling $3 million with awards from $30,000 to $750,000 to plan or implement restoration on Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War sites protected by NPS grants or preservation easements. Eligible applicants include states, counties, municipalities, tribal entities, nonprofits, and institutions of higher education. Planning grants ($30,000–$100.000) support research, documentation, and design, while implementation grants ($50,000–$750,000) fund on-the-ground restoration. Applications are due January 8, 2026.
