Municipalities have the opportunity to apply for the Electronic Monitoring and Reporting (EMR) Grant Program 2025–2026, offered by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). This program supports the adoption of electronic technologies such as onboard cameras and digital logbooks to improve fisheries data collection, reporting, and management. Projects should align with NOAA’s regional priorities and demonstrate benefits to fisheries science, sustainability, and sponsor engagement.
Municipalities are encouraged to identify their fisheries priorities, collaborate with community and industry stakeholders, and submit proposals that advance innovation, enhance data systems, and promote sustainable marine resource management when pursuing this grant.
Proposals must be submitted via the NFWFs Easygrants portal with full program details and criteria available on the NFWF’s website.
Applications for the Program are due by Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:59 pm.
