[ARCHIVED] Federal Budget Update

The Federal Budget expires on March 14. House and Senate Leadership are negotiating with President Trump to determine whether a budget can be passed or if a temporary extension, is necessary.

Given the compressed timeframe and the narrow margins in both chambers, it is likely that another short-term extension, known as a Continuing Resolution, will be enacted prior to the deadline. Otherwise, a government shutdown will occur.

We will continue to monitor events and report as necessary.
