I. Mayors' Hall of Fame Reminder

Nomination being accepted for the Mayors Hall of Fame.  The Mayors' Hall of Fame was rolled out on November 15, 1995, at the Mayors' Luncheon during the 80th Annual League Conference in Atlantic City. There are three recognition levels: Silver Level (10 Years), Gold Level (20 Years), and White Level (30 Years). Mayors who are currently serving and have served a total of 10, 20, or 30 years as mayor, are eligible for nomination by associates or for themselves. Mayors who rotate into office are eligible for this recognition.  Find details and nomination forms at the League web site.

III. NJ Municipalities Magazine Seeking Your Stories

 
Local officials are invited to share their stories with the readers of NJ Municipalities Magazine. Do you have a successful initiative or an innovation that could help your fellow local governments in the Garden State? We are now accepting queries from local government project and program leaders for potential publication in the League magazines 2019 and 2020 issues.

Each year Downtown New Jersey recognizes New Jersey’s best downtown projects and programs completed within the last two years. Winning submissions are considered models worthy of emulation and are promoted on Downtown New Jersey’s website and will be recognized at the Downtown New Jersey Conference on October 18, 2019 at the Westminster Arts Center in Bloomfield.
