The Senate and Assembly recently advanced legislation to legalize the adult use of recreational marijuana. While the time-table for final votes is not yet known and the legislation may be further amended, this free webinar will provide an overview of the legislation, its current status and its potential impact on municipalities.

II. NJEDA Now Accepting Applications for a Second
Round of the Innovation Challenge Program
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is accepting applications for the Innovation Challenge, which provides funding for municipalities and counties to develop plans to build or augment their local innovation ecosystems. The program is only open to New Jersey local or county government or municipal partnerships representing a combined population of 25,000 or more, or regional partnership representing a combined population of 100,000 or more. The program will provide grants of up to $100,000 each, and the total pool of funding available is $500,000. To read more about the Innovation Challenge Program go to NJEDA's website.
