AOC Issues Memo on New DUI Plea Bargaining Law    

Judge Grant, the Acting Director of the Administrative Office of the Courts, issued a memorandum last week regarding the application of a recent law permitting plea bargaining to allow for ignition interlock devices in minor drunk driving cases.

Local Finance Notice Issued on Russia-Belarus Contracting Law

The Division of Local Government Services has issued Local Finance Notice 2024-04 explaining the new developments in the implementation of the law prohibiting public contracts with persons and entities with ties to Russia or Belarus.
