Hosted by the New Jersey State Data Center, the lead state agency working directly with the U.S. Census Bureau, this free virtual meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday, October 4th, and Thursday October 5th from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The meeting is an opportunity to see presentations from U.S. Census Bureau subject matter experts on a wide range of topics related to Census data products and their usage.

Keynote speakers at the meeting will be Robert Asaro-Angelo, Commissioner, NJ Department of Labor, and Workforce Development and Leila N. Dickerson, Regional Director, U.S. Census Bureau, New York Regional Office.
Tentative Topics will include an update on the region’s current operations and outreach activities by Leila Dickerson, Director of the New York Regional Office of the U.S. Census Bureau; how to access data from the new platform and a demonstration on MDAT which allows you to do complex cross-tabulations of Census microdata without the need for expensive statistical packages or data manipulation software; review of Census Business Builder; a new tool that incorporates data from the American Community Survey, Economic Census, County Business Patterns Non-Employer Statistics and Local Employment Dynamics Quarterly Workforce Indicators to provide an economic profile of selected information that analysts can use to help them make informed decisions; and a demonstration of Local Employment Dynamics (LED).
The meeting will also discuss:
