Time is of the Essence, One Week to Restore Energy Tax Receipts

The League, the New Jersey Conference of Mayors, and New Jersey Urban Mayors Association, continue to call for the full restoration of Energy Tax Receipts. As a result of our collective outreach, Senator Greenstein and Assemblyman DeAngelo are sponsoring budget resolutions to fully restore the over $330 million in Energy Tax Receipts Property Tax Relief Fund. Please reach out to your Senator and Assembly representatives today and urge them to sign on as co-sponsors to the budget resolutions. Please note that budget resolutions are not publicly available at this time. Please let Lori Buckelew at the League know after you have made this request of your legislators.

We thank Senator Greenstein and Assemblymen DeAngelo for sponsoring the budget resolutions. Again, please ask your State Senator and Assembly representatives to join as co-sponsors.
