Mike started with NJLM in October 1996, and currently serves as a Senior Legislative Analyst. Mike lobbies on issues related to local government, monitors hearings and testifies before legislative committees and serves as the policy analyst for NJLM’s Foundation. He has received a B.A. in History and Communications from Fordham University and an M.P.A from Rutgers University.
Jon commenced his employment with NJLM in January 1986, and is the most senior of the League’s Senior Legislative Analysts. Jon is NJLM’s State Budget Analyst and Federal Relations Coordinator. He compiles press releases to keep local officials informed of developments at the State Capital and advises state officials of the local perspective. Jon has a B.A. in History from St. Joseph’s University and an M.A. in Political Theory from Rutgers University.
Lori has been with NJLM since September 2009 and is a Senior Legislative Analyst. She has a B.A. in Political Science and Criminal Justice and an M.P.A. from Kean University. Additionally, she holds a Registered Municipal Clerk certification.
Ed joined NJLM as Staff Attorney in May 2013, and as such advises NJLM and its membership on a number of legal issues. Ed received a B.A. in History from Rowan University and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law at Camden

Biography
Taran Samhammer
Taran has been with NJLM since February 2002, and serves as both Advertising Manager for New Jersey Municipalities and Bureau Services and Research Coordinator for the Bureau of Municipal Information. Taran is responsible for managing all print and web advertising and coordinating research and online educational tools. Taran has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Arizona and an M.P.A. from Villanova University.
Kristin has been with NJLM since May 2006, and serves as the Exhibit Manager. As such, she manages exhibits and sponsorships for NJLM’s Annual Conference in Atlantic City. Kristin has a B.A. in American Studies from Rutgers University.
Danielle has been with NJLM since September 2009. As the Program Specialist she coordinates professional development seminars, continuing education credits for NJLM’s Annual Conference and edits the Mayors Newsline and the Quarterly Affiliate Newswire. Danielle has a B.A. from Montclair State University and an M.P.A. from Centenary College
