LEAGUE OF MUNICIPALITIES ADOPTS SEVENTEEN RESOLUTIONS AT ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING
League Conference delegates acted on 17 resolutions at the annual business meeting on Friday, November 21, as part of the League’s 93rd Annual Conference.
The approved resolutions cover a wide range of subjects, including calling on the State Legislature to enact comprehensive reform to the Fair Housing Act and the State Planning Act, to encourage the use of solar power, a “CAP Exception” for costs associated with PFRS, among other issues. A resolution honoring the distinguished service of outgoing League President Robert L. Bowser, Mayor of East Orange, was also passed.
The resolutions were screened by the League Resolutions committee, chaired by League President and Hope Mayor Timothy McDonough on Tuesday afternoon of the conference week.
