League of Municipalities’ Executive Director Bill Dressel issued the following statement, in response to Judge Linda Feinberg’s ruling in the FSHC v, NJLM Access to Records case.
"We are clearly pleased with today's decision. While the League has always conducted its business in an open and transparent manner, we are gratified that the Court agreed with our arguments that the League itself is not subject to the specific requirements and penalties of OPRA. We will, however, continue to honor the spirit of the Act and the openness and transparency it is designed to foster. It is worthy to note that all the material Fair Share Housing requested was provided to them."
