Fred Beaver, Director, Division of Pensions and Benefits was also in attendance as a panelist. The attendees learned about recent and proposed changes to public employee pensions and benefits and how local budgets are impacted. In addition, the speaker panel also discussed the provisions of Chapter 62, PL 2007 and provided an update on financial disclosure requirements for post-retirement health benefits as required by GASB 34 and 45.
