Guest speaker June Williamson, Professor of Architecture at the City College of New York, will discuss the book she co-authored with Ellen Dunham-Jones, Retrofitting Suburbia: Urban Design Solutions for Redesigning Suburbs. 

Retrofitting Suburbia provides case studies of redeveloped “dead malls,” office parks, garden apartment complexes, and other properties.  The book offers techniques and potential pitfalls involved in transforming some of the least sustainable landscapes into more urban and sustainable places.
