Please note the5:15 p.m. Wednesday session, in Room 322. This will be a formal public hearing of the Governor’s 11 member Local Government Ethics Law Task Force. The Task Force was created to study, and to make recommendations for reforms of, the 1991 Local Government Ethics Law. The Task Force chose to hold this hearing at our Conference specifically to allow local officials to share their insights on the Law and the way it works, or doesn’t work, in practice. We appreciate the Task Force’s obvious respect for you and the desire of the members to provide a convenient forum to gain the perspective of as many interested local officials as possible.
We hope that you will be able to participate at this, and our other ethics sessions, next month in Atlantic City.

Very truly yours,
