Reminder: Joint Forum with Highlands Council

Municipal Clerks: Please provide copies to all members of the Governing Body and Land Use Boards.

Dear Highlands Mayor:

The League and Highlands Council are co-sponsoring a forum on the implementation of the Highlands Act. This educational program is an opportunity for local officials to ask questions of key members of the Highlands Council as well as staff, as serve as part of the Highlands Council on-going outreach efforts.

The program is scheduled for Friday, October 21, the Morris County Cultural Center, 1 PM. Included in page 2 of this fax is the draft agenda for the program.

There is no charge for registration. Due to space constraints and other logistical concerns, however, we do ask that you register with us. You can do so by simply emailing Mike Cerra at mcerra@njslom.com, faxing us at 609-695-5156 or calling 609-695-3481 x20.

Additionally, the Highlands Council has a number of partnership meetings already set up for local officials, as follows:

Tuesday, October 18th- 3:00 - 5:30
Wednesday, October 19th - 7:00 - 9:30
Thursday, October 20th, 7:00 - 9:30

All these meeting will be held at the New Jersey Highlands Office.
