Important Conference Sessions ECONOMIC (RE)DEVELOPMENT
This is our sixth letter high lighting sessions related to a particular theme. And today’s timely theme is local economic development and redevelopment.
Let’s start on Tuesday, November 18 at 3:45 P.M. with a workshop, jointly sponsored by your League and Downtown New Jersey, Inc., entitled “The Future of Downtown and Retail,” in Room 313. In the alternative, at the same time, in Room 410, you could consider attending “Economic Impact of Travel and Tourism.”
On Wednesday morning, November 19, at 10:45, join us for “Creating Economic Growth in Challenging Times,” in Room 304. At 2:00, there’s a session in Room 304 called “Transit Oriented Development – A Practical Guide for Implementation in Your Community.” And, at 3:45, head to Room 309, for a major session, “Creating Opportunity through Economic Growth – A Meeting of the Urban Enterprise Zone Mayors Commission.”
And, on Thursday, November 20, at 10:45 A.M. in Rooms 405/406, join us for “Transforming Your Community’s Landscape – The Power of Arts, History and Culture.” And, after the League Luncheon, head to Room 313 for our 2:00 session, “Increasing the Effectiveness and Impact of Commercial District Improvements.”
