Important Conference Sessions THE NEXT GENERATION
As you prepare for the League’s Annual Conference, we like to let you know about a few of the sessions we’ve planned. This, then, will be the fourth letter high lighting sessions related to a particular theme. And today’s theme focuses on our most precious resource – our children.
On Wednesday morning, November 19, at 9:00, join us for “Underage Drinking – Actions Have Consequences,” in Room 401. At 10:45, there’s a sessions that will help us learn how to protect ourselves, as well as our children, from a thoroughly modern menace. Come to Room 313 for “Promoting Internet Safety.” After lunch, head to Room 404, for a major tandem session sponsored by the League and NBC-LEO, “Prevention: A Strategy for Safe Streets and Neighborhoods and Boys & Girls Clubs Gang Prevention Through Targeted Outreach Program.”
And, on Thursday, November 20, at 10:45 in Room 416, join us for “Promoting Early Literacy for Young Children Through Mayor’s Book Clubs.” Then, after the League Luncheon, go to Room 301 for “Strategies for Dealing with Gangs and Drugs in Public Housing Sites.”
For more information on these, and other, sessions, visit the League’s website at www.njslom.com.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
