Governor James Florio, the opening keynote speaker, will discuss how state and local governments can connect to the Obama agenda and achieve the national goals in our region. The first panel of the conference will to discuss what local government initiatives have been implemented, which have worked and which have not, and plans for the future. The second panel will focus on environmental and employment initiatives in the region. Both panels include local government officials, academics and practitioners.
