Joint Meeting on Beach Access
The Senate and Assembly Environment Committee is holding a joint meeting on Thursday, August 7, 2008 in Toms River to take testimony from the public on two issues -- (1) public access to beaches and (2) offshore liquefied natural gas facilities. The meeting will be held at 10:30 A.M.

Individuals presenting testimony are asked to provide 25 copies to the committee aides before the meeting begins.
Municipal officials may be interested in the hearing on proposed Liquefied Natural gas facilities as three facilities have been proposed for construction off the Jersey Shore. Also, shore mayors might wish to testify on the DEP rules on beach access, parking and public restrooms requirements. Click here for a copy of the rules.

From Trenton, take Route 195 E to exit 16B. At the third traffic light, make a right onto Route 571. At Route 9, make a right (south). Continue straight onto Main Street. Make a left onto Washington Street. Make a right onto Robbins Street. Parking will be on the left.
From Garden State Parkway, take Exit 82 to Route 37 East. Turn right on Main Street. Make a left onto Washington Street. Make a right onto Robbins Street. Parking will be on the left.
