I. Re-adoption of Vegetation Management Regulations by the Board of Public Utilities-Comment and Interim Requirements
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is in the process of re-adopting their Electric Service Regulations which include Reliability and Vegetation Management Standards. The BPU is soliciting comments in connection with this re-adoption until July 21, 2008. To comment, please go to the BPU website at:

The interim vegetation management requirements to be used while the re-adoption is being reviewed can also be accessed from this website.

In light of this summer’s mobilization of National Guard personnel in New Jersey, the State Attorney General’s Office has asked us to make available to you a summary of the laws protecting the rights of public employee reservists who are deployed for military service.
