Attached please find the current request for nominations of the 7th Annual Michael A. Pane Award.
In honor of the memory of Michael A. Pane, the 7th annual award will be presented to a professional (Attorney, Engineer, Planner) that personifies outstanding ability, integrity and a high standard of ethics in his or her dealings with local government. The ceremony will be held during the League’s annual conference in Atlantic City on Thursday November 19th during a session of the NJ Institute of Local Government Attorneys.

The award is to honor a local government professional (attorney, engineer, planner) who personifies outstanding ability, integrity, and ethics in his or her dealings with local governments.
NOMINATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE A SHORT BIOGRAPHY AND A LETTER EXPLAINING YOUR REASONS FOR NOMINATING THE INDIVIDUAL. YOU CAN FAX OR MAIL YOUR NOMINATION TO:

After receiving the award, the honoree will provide an essay of 500 words or less on the subject of ethics in government. This essay will be published. Upon receipt of the essay the honorarium will be issued.
The Michael A. Pane Memorial Fund was established to promote ethical behavior in local government.
