RE: Legislative Alert- Age Restricted Housing

Dear Mayor,

On Thursday, May 21, the Senate will consider Governor Corzine’s conditional veto (CV) of

S-2577/A-3772,  which would permit the conversion of age-restricted housing units to non-age-restricted housing units.  If the Senate approves the language of the conditional veto, it then goes to the General Assembly for consideration, most likely at their next voting session in June.

We suggest contacting your State Senator before Thursday’s voting session to express any concerns your municipality may have with S-2577.
