COMMITTEE HEARING THIS THURSDAY

Re:    A-500
                                                                   Affordable Housing Hearing 

Dear Mayor:

The League opposes A-500, which modifies provisions of the Fair Housing Act.   A-500 is now posted for a hearing by the Assembly Housing and Local Government Committee for this Thursday, May 22, 10 AM, Committee Room 4, Statehouse Annex, Trenton NJ.

Our position is outlined in our Dear Mayor letter of May 6, 2008 and Dear Mayor letter of April 18.        

We suggest contacting the members of the committee and ask them to oppose the bill.  The committee list is online at: http://www.njslom.org/assembly-committee3.html
