Many thanks for your quick action in reaching out to members of the Senate Labor Committee and your legislators on the potential harmful effects of an expansion of scope of negotiable subjects as proposed in S-1137.
We are pleased to report S-1137 was held today by Senate Labor Committee and no testimony was taken. This is credited to your immediate response to our letter of May 13.
Under S-1137, issues that have been historically non-negotiable would become negotiable. This would severely impinge on local management authority and increase time and cost of negotiations.
You will be immediately informed if the status of S-1137 changes.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
