This is a follow up to our letter of April 18th informing you of the partnership between your League and the NJ Child Care Economic Impact Council under the leadership of Thomas Edison College. The purpose of this partnership is to begin a conversation with mayors and municipal leaders about the link between economic development and the childcare industry and to determine, through a survey, the areas of technical assistance that can be offered to municipalities.
Though many of you have responded to the short survey on this most important issue, we see the need to provide a further opportunity for all of you to respond. Therefore, the deadline for survey submission has been extended to May 16, 2008. We greatly appreciate your assistance in this endeavor.
