In cooperation with State, county and municipal public safety and emergency management professional associations, your League of Municipalities is sponsoring 21 county sited "Citizen Corps NJ" Information Workshops. Every Mayor needs to either attend in person or send an emergency management delegate or delegation to the appropriate workshop in order to learn all about vital "Citizen Corps" programs, such as "Community Emergency Response Teams" (CERT), "Neighborhood Watch," "Volunteers In Police Service" (VIPS) and the "Medical Reserve Corps."
