Re:  Grant Writing, The Next Level Seminar

Dear Mayor:

With decreased property tax relief funding from Trenton and a host of other demands placed on local governments it has become increasingly more difficult to provide quality services at an affordable cost.  With this in mind the League has asked our grants consultants, Triad Associates to develop a training session designed to help your professional staff position your community for grant funding.

This professional development seminar, Grant Writing, The Next Level is scheduled for:

Tuesday, May 19, 2009
Robert B. Meyner Reception Center
PNC Arts Center
Holmdel, NJ
8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Registration fee:       Members $125.00    Non-members $250.00

This grant training session will not only address the current environment of grants which includes discussion about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act but it will also allow participants to come prepared with questions on any current applications they are working on as there will be ample process time to address these issues.  The point is we are trying to taper this program to your needs with professional assistance and guidance necessary to develop and effective grant proposal template for a vast array of funding sources not just limited to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The program also affords valuable continuing education units (CEU’s) for CMFO/CCFO, RMC, CPA, RMA, CPRP and CRP.
