Re:    DEP Permit Efficiency Review Task Force Implementation Plan

Dear Mayor:

League President, Mayor Tim McDonough of Hope Township, and I recently met with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Acting Commissioner Mark N. Mauriello. The Acting Commissioner is eager to work with the League on the issues that matter most to our members.

Toward that end, the Acting Commissioner also advised us that the Department of Environmental Protection has posted on its website the Final Report of the Permit Efficiency Review Task Force at

This report is the product of months of work by task force members representing a wide range of parties interested in permit efficiency.
