Re:    Local Finance Notice on Pension Deferral Law

Dear Mayor:

The Division of Local Government Services has just posted Local Finance Notice 2009-7 on their website. The LFN is details the implementation procedures for all aspects of the Pension Deferral. Please bring this to the attention of your Finance professionals.

The Division of Pensions and Benefits will be providing separate notice on aspects of the Law under its purview. Keep an eye on the Pensions website at http://www.state.nj.us/treasury/pensions/.
