Re: Important New Information from the Division of Local Government Services

We would like to draw your attention to some important new information on the website of the Division of Local Government Services.

Municipal State Aid Certifications for CY 2009 municipalities have been posted on the Division of Local Government Services website at www.nj.gov/dca/lgs/muniaid/aidmenu.shtml. 

Local Finance Notice 2009-6 (www.state.nj.us/dca/lgs/lfns/09lfns/2009-6.doc) contains important information about the certification and aid calculations.  Calendar year municipalities should now move forward toward budget introduction.  The Notice includes up-to-date information about the budget calendar.  SFY municipalities will receive an updated Certification once the State's FY 2010 budget is enacted.
