Re:  Federal Stimulus Funding (Roads, Bridges and Transit)

Dear Mayor:

The New Jersey Department of Transportation (DOT) has posted a “Question and Answer” document, regarding transportation related funding coming to New Jersey, through the Federal Stimulus Bill. The document is available on the DOT website at http://www.nj.gov/transportation/capital/stimulus/faq.shtm

This is our second letter regarding the funding, and the first we send, thanks to the cooperation of a State agency.

Our thanks to Commissioner Dilts and to his staff. They have been in touch with us over the past few weeks, as the Stimulus Bill took its final form. And we will continue to work closely with the Department in the coming weeks and months.
