In a town with less than 10,000 residents, and with a budget of 9.6 million, we struggled every year to stay afloat. With the municipal aid cut of $200,000 we are just about out of business. Our school district with a $63 million dollar budget is getting increased aid from the state. What's wrong with this picture. How about spreading the cut over a number of years, and do the same with the Police Fire pension contribution. The Governor wants to eliminate small towns like us, someone can tell him his plan is working.
