Re: League’s Interlocal Advisory Center
The League offers a free resource to its membership, the Interlocal Advisory Center, as part of its Bureau of Municipal Information. The Interlocal Advisory Center can be found on our website at www.njslom.org/interlocaladvisorycenter.html.
This Resource Center provides links to important interlocal legislation, the Local Unit Alignment Reorganization and Consolidation Commission (LUARCC), news articles and various resources. We also provide a listing of sample Shared Service Agreements enacted by other municipalities and a Shared Services Bulletin Board where local governments can share ideas and reach out to others who are interested in sharing services.
In addition to our website, we also offer our members a consultation service with a professional consultant to answer general questions, to review proposed feasibility studies and provide suggestions. Requests for this service should be sent to Taran Samhammer.
If you think you have a successful interlocal service agreement or program, please submit that information to firstname.lastname@example.org, so that we may share it with other municipalities on our website. If you would be interested in doing an article on your interlocal agreement or program in our magazine, New Jersey Municipalities, please contact our Editor Kyra Duran at email@example.com.
Please visit our website at www.njslom.org/interlocaladvisorycenter.html. If you have any questions on our website or the services that we offer, please contact Taran Samhammer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
