Join the Mayors Wellness Campaign in Atlantic City!
November 16-18, 2010

The Mayors Wellness Campaign (MWC) is once again participating in the annual New Jersey State League of Municipalities Conference at the Atlantic City Convention Center, November 16 – 18.

MWC Booth

Our Booth is located in the 100 aisle lounge area (all the way to the RIGHT as you enter the convention floor).

Mayors, highlight YOUR town by stopping by our Booth to record a short video telling us why YOUR town is the healthiest town in New Jersey!  Tuesday, 1-5pm; Wednesday, 9am – 3pm

MWC Panel Session

Entitled A Successful Mayors Wellness Campaign: It "Takes a Village,” our League panel session will be on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 3:45 – 5:15 pm in Room 313 of the Atlantic City Convention Center. 

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jaime Torres, Region II Director of the US Department of Health & Human Services, will be joining our panel. Dr. Torres will discuss First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” initiative and their partnership with the Mayors Wellness Campaign. Joining us via pre-recorded video is author and HealthCorps Ambassador Daphne Oz. Mayors Frank DelCore, Bill Curtis, Scott Spitzer and Dana Redd round out the panel. 

MWC Reception

Our annual Reception will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, immediately following the panel session from         5 – 7pm in Crown Ballroom 2 of the Sheraton Convention Center Hotel (adjacent to the convention center).  Our special guest speaker is Dr. Jaime Torres, Region II Director of the US Department of Health & Human Services.  Mayors attending the reception will receive a signed copy of Daphne Oz’s national best seller “The Dorm Room Diet.”
