Re: Free Event – Government Efficiency and Best Practices Forum – on Friday, October 22 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
In the spirit of our continuing working relationship with the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, I wanted to inform you about an upcoming session we have co-sponsored on October 22.
As you know, much discussion these past few months has centered on the Governor’s Tool Kit proposal, shared services, consolidation, and ethics reform. These issues not only impact local government, but have a profound effect on the business climate in New Jersey. Our private sector colleagues share a vested interest in improving government efficiency and effectiveness with the ultimate goal of bringing New Jersey’s fiscal house in order. To that end, I encourage you to participate in a free event – Government Efficiency and Best Practices Forum – on Friday, October 22 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.
Registration will commence at 8:30 and the program begins at 9:00 am. DCA Commissioner Lori Grifa will kick off the event, followed by two panels of experts. Peter Cocoziello, President and CEO of Advance Realty Group and State Chamber Executive Committee Board member, will moderate the forum. Panel 1 will include four former state treasurers -- Brian Clymer, John McCormac, Jim DiEleuterio and Sam Crane. Panel 2 will include Mayor, Jim Anzaldi, Clifton, President of the NJ State League of Municipalities, William G. Dressel, Jr., Executive Director of the NJ State League of Municipalities, a representative from DCA and the Governor’s Office, and State Chamber Board member Bob Podvey of the law firm Podvey, Meanor, Catenacci, Hildner Cocoziello & Chattman, P.C.
Please register using the attached form (WORD / PDF) and send it in to the State Chamber. Again, I encourage your participation in this insightful and educational forum.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
