Re: Ethics Training Available from NJLM
We feel that it is vitally important for all elected and appointed officials to be aware of the ethics landscape especially given national, state and local developments. The Annual League Conference offers you an excellent value in keeping your staff well informed. Please note on our conference workshop schedule the hundreds of hours of potential CEU’s for your certified staff and education for all municipal officials in the area of ethics. http://njslom.com/95thconf/conference-schedule.html
For example, on Wednesday November 17 there will be a session on Ethics in Government, which is part of the Arthur J. Holland Program on Ethics in Government. On the same day, League General Council Bill Kearns will be giving a session on the Do’s and Don’ts of Local Government Ethics. For much more, visit the Ethics Resource Center at the League web site.
The League can also arrange for a seminar in your municipality for all employees or for employees from a combination of municipalities. Mr. Kearns has been offering this seminar for the past three years, and has been advising towns as municipal attorney for much longer than that. If you are interested, please contact Bill Dressel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are committed to providing the latest information to you and your staff on the broad spectrum of issues you deal with in governing your community and if you have any questions on our overall service offerings please do not hesitate to contact me.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
