Re: NJLM Foundation’s “Friends of Local Government”

Dear Mayor:

The League’s Educational Foundation recently published its latest white paper.   This is the first paper of the second volume in NJLM Foundation’s “Friends of Local Government” Policy Paper series. These papers will offer perspectives and analysis from organizations focused on helping local governments addresses the fundamental challenges that lie ahead.

This paper is titles "Shared Services and Municipal Consolidation: Pursuing Careful Assumptions and Grounded Studies" by Mark Holzer, Dean of the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers-Newark, and the Executive Director of SPAA’s National Center for Public Performance (NCPP) and John Fry, former municipal administrator and the Director of NCPP’s Shared Services Institute.
