DCA COMMISSIONER GRIFA BRIEFS MAYORS ON FUNDING CUTS AND BUDGET TOOLS

Hours before Governor Christie unveiled his first State Budget proposal, DCA Commissioner Lori Grifa briefed League Member Mayors on some of the specifics. The briefing included a description of some of the $400 million cuts and a mention of some of the tools that the Administration hopes to provide local officials, in order to limit the impact of the cuts.

League First Vice President Chuck Chiarello of Buena Vista and Third Vice President Mayor Janice Mironov of East Windsor led our delegation, which included Immediate past President mayor Tim McDonough of Hope, executive board member mayor Michael Fressola of Manchester, Mayors Dana Redd of Camden, John Bencivengo of Hamilton (Mercer) and Bernie Platt of Cherry Hill.
