Re: Snow Emergency Response Update
Dear Mayor:
We have been asked by the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM or the Office) to advise you that the Office continues to operate at a Level III advanced monitoring and staffing phase.
Active state agencies include but are not limited to: NJOEM, NJSP, New Jersey Department of Transportation, Board of Public Utility, Department of Human Services, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs
NJDOT will continue snow removal and road treatment efforts
Residents without power are urged to contact their local or county office of emergency management for shelter locations.
Municipalities involved in the recovery process of the weekend storm should work actively with their department of public works, office of emergency management and any other local resource utilized during the event to build an overall report (cost estimates etc) which should be forwarded to their county office of emergency management.
