Re: Volunteers Needed for Emergency Management Prepardness Committee

Dear Mayor:

The League Executive Board recently appointed League Past President, Mayor Tim McDonough of Hope Township to Chair our Municipal Emergency Management Preparedness Committee.

This Committee will interface with The State Police, Office of Homeland Security, County OEM’s and other state and federal agencies in developing policies and educational materials to assist Mayors and Governing body officials on how best to cope with local and regional emergencies.

Mayor McDonough wishes to begin early in the New Year in scheduling meetings and action plan on how best to move this committee forward and if you are interested in getting involved or would like to recommend someone from your leadership team to participate on this committee please contact me at  bdressel@njslom.com
