Funding Opportunity:   Funding Your Project with a Sustainable Jersey Small Grant (Webinar)

Have you heard about the new $150,000 in grant funding now available to Sustainable Jersey registered and certified municipalities?  

Consistent with the Gardinier Environmental Fund's mission, the grants will fund energy projects focused on conservation, efficiency, and renewable energy including building efficiency upgrades, alternative vehicle fueling and charging stations, energy education and outreach, energy resiliency, solar energy installations, studies and engineering, and innovative energy initiatives. 

In this webinar, Sustainable Jersey staff will review grant eligibility and submission requirements, preview the new online application form, and answer participant questions regarding this new source of funding. 

Easement Stewardship:  Inventorying, Maintaining and Conserving Easements in Your Municipality (Webinar)

This webinar will help municipalities to insure that easements are properly managed and conserved.  Hear from Jennifer Feltis Cortese of NJ DEP regarding the Sustainable Jersey actions related to easement stewardship.

Eileen Swan, NJ Conservation Foundation, will help you learn about Byram Township’s model program for creating an easement inventory, and conducting landowner outreach and education.  Find out how to maintain easements and create buffers where needed.
