RE: The 2014 Police and Fire books are now available!
Could different contract provisions increase efficiency in your fire services? Is there a way to provide more effective policing, while lowering costs? And how much do your neighbors pay for police and fire protection? The answers to these questions can help you to better serve the interests of your local residents and businesses. And many of those answers can be found through our Police and Fire Labor Data Service.
The Police and Fire Labor Data Service is a series that provides multiple resources tracking the trends in police and fire contract settlements and arbitration awards. Included in this series are:
Selected Police Officer Selected Contract Provisions (1 PDF/book)
Selected Firefighter Selected Contract Provisions (1 PDF/book)
Selected Police Officers’ Salary Scales (1 zip file containing multiple excel files)
Selected Firefighters’ Salary Scales (1 zip file containing multiple excel files)
Quarterly Arbitration Newsletter (4 emails, received quarterly [March, June, September & December])
While this series is a longstanding resource offered by the League annually, this year the books will be available electronically, ensuring that you receive them quickly and efficiently.
If you are not interested in purchasing the full service, you may purchase only the information relating to police department, fire departments or purchase only the Quarterly Arbitration Newsletter.
Once your order form and payment information has been received by League staff, a link will be emailed to you allowing you to download the purchased publications.
The Police and Fire Labor Data Service is part of the League’s Bureau of Municipal Information.
