RE: All the answers you need for most of the questions you have * at the Conference Consulting Session
Having any problems with the DEP? Unfunded mandates upsetting your budget? How’s your municipal website and how could you make it better? How can you get the most for your citizens from your incumbent cable franchise? Can you get any help from the State for your Historic Preservation efforts? And how can you get the help you need to fully recover from Sandy?
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to get direct and accurate answers to the questions you need to ask to make your municipality the best that it can be for all your fellow citizens?
Well, we think so, too. That’s why we are setting aside two hours, right at the beginning of our Conference Week, for our all new Consulting Session. Scores of consulting tables will be in place, with top experts waiting for you and your questions, on Tuesday, November 18, in Hall A of the Atlantic City Convention Center.
The procedure couldn’t be any easier. You go to Hall A anytime between 12:30 pm. and 2:30 p.m. (Note the NEW start time.) You find the table at which is seated the expert you need. You sit down, introduce yourself and ask your questions. Once you are satisfied that you have the information you need, you thank the expert and move on to another table with another expert in another field.
You will find a listing of Consulting Session experts in your Conference Program. But we’ll be updating that list, as more experts agree to share their time, talents and specialized knowledge with us in Atlantic City. We will soon be posting a preliminary version of that list on our Conference webpage at www.njslom.com or http://www.njslom.org/99thconf/conf-schedule.html. Also, be sure to read more about this session and the Conference in the October and November editions of our magazine, New Jersey Municipalities.
Our annual Consulting Session just might be the most valuable ‘shared service’ you’ll be involved in this year. We hope to see you there.
Very truly yours,
William G. Dressel, Jr.
