Re: League provides a library of sample ordinances and shared service agreements
Were you aware that the League provides a library of sample ordinances and shared service agreements? Over 1,000 sample documents are currently available in the League’s online library. And while this online service has been provided for over 10 years, these libraries were updated this past spring and redesigned making the documents easier to search by topic, municipality or county.
When drafting a new ordinance or shared services agreement in your town, it may be helpful to view what neighboring municipalities have already enacted. Visit njslom.org/bureau/ordinances-ssa.html to view hundreds of sample ordinances and/or samples of shared service agreements.
This service is part of the League’s Bureau of Municipal Information, an information resource center providing a variety of services and resources to NJLM’s local government membership that can be utilized to increase efficiency and provide direction. Within the Bureau are resources on over 20 topics that contain pertinent links, news articles and information on legislation effecting topics such as the Arbitration Cap, Affordable Housing, Same Sex Marriages and much more. The Bureau has been a key service that the League provides its membership for nearly 100 years.
We hope that you find the above service useful. If you have any questions please contact Taran Samhammer with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
